Privacy Policy

Last updated June 4, 2026

This Privacy Policy is a template provided for general informational purposes and must be reviewed and customized by qualified legal counsel before AriesView Security relies on it in production or at launch. It does not constitute legal advice.

1. Introduction

AriesView Security (“AriesView Security,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides an endpoint security software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that helps security and IT teams harden every device, reduce their attack surface, and prove compliance by enrolling a lightweight agent on each laptop and server. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and process it, the choices you have, and the rights available to you under applicable data protection laws.

This policy applies to our marketing websites, the AriesView Security application, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service, you acknowledge the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information. When you register or are provisioned an account, we collect identifiers such as your name, business email address, employer or organization, job title, and authentication credentials. For paid plans we may collect billing contact details; payment card data is handled by our payment processor and is not stored on our systems.
  • Device and posture data.The agent reports technical data about each enrolled endpoint — the status of security controls, network posture (firewall, DNS, listening ports, and exposures), scan results, and related metadata (“Customer Content”). The agent is designed to collect security posture metadata, not the contents of your files. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to enroll the devices you connect to the Service.
  • Usage and device data. We automatically collect technical and usage information such as IP address, browser and device characteristics, pages and features used, actions taken within the application, timestamps, and log and diagnostic data. This helps us operate, secure, and improve the Service.
  • Communications. When you contact us for support, a demo, or sales, we collect the information you provide and a record of those communications.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, maintain, and secure the Service and your account;
  • Process Customer Content to deliver the platform’s core functionality — including hardening enforcement, posture monitoring, exposure detection, and the compliance evidence you request;
  • Authenticate users, manage subscriptions, and process billing;
  • Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support;
  • Monitor, analyze, and improve performance, reliability, and usability of the Service;
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

4. Processing of Customer Content

The AriesView Security platform processes the posture and telemetry the agent reports from your endpoints. We process Customer Content solely to provide the Service to you and your organization — for example, to enforce your hardening baseline, surface exposures, and produce the compliance evidence and audit trail you can review and export.

We do not use your Customer Content to train, fine-tune, or improve foundational or shared AI models without your explicit consent. Where the Service relies on third-party AI providers to perform processing, we engage providers under contractual terms that restrict the use of your content to delivering the Service and that prohibit using it to train their general-purpose models. AI-generated outputs are intended to support human review and are not a substitute for professional judgment.

5. Data Sharing and Subprocessors

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to operate the Service and as described below:

  • Subprocessors and service providers. We use trusted vendors to provide cloud hosting and storage, AI inference, analytics, communications, and payment processing. These providers may process information on our behalf under contractual obligations consistent with this policy.
  • Within your organization.Customer Content and account activity may be accessible to other authorized users within your organization’s workspace.
  • Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or government request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of AriesView Security, our users, or others.
  • Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred subject to this policy.

6. Security

We maintain administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These measures include encryption in transit, access controls, authentication, network protections, logging, and least-privilege practices. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain account information and Customer Content for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. We also retain information as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account and associated Customer Content; upon a valid request, we will delete or de-identify such data within a commercially reasonable period, subject to backup retention cycles and legal requirements.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights under laws such as the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA). These may include the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information; to object to or restrict certain processing; to withdraw consent; and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise these rights, contact us at info@ariessecurity.com. Where AriesView Security processes Customer Content on behalf of a customer, we act as a processor and will direct individual requests to the relevant customer (controller).

9. International Data Transfers

We may process and store information in countries other than the one in which you are located, including the United States. Where we transfer personal information across borders, we implement appropriate safeguards — such as standard contractual clauses or other lawful transfer mechanisms — to protect your information consistent with applicable law.

10. Children’s Privacy

The Service is a business tool intended for use by professionals and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 16. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

12. Contact Us

If you have any questions, concerns, or requests regarding this Privacy Policy or our data practices, please contact AriesView Security at info@ariessecurity.com.
